Necco of Albany has a wonderful network of supporters. In the fall of 2013 a local artist lent a hand to add some warmth to their location.
The artist rendered a family tree on the walls of the space Necco of Albany calls home. Their family tree is complete with branches that have “thumbprint” leaves.
Albany plans to capture a memory with all of their kids (current and future) by adding their little thumbprints prints to the tree. The first few kids that participated thought it was so cool to add their fingerprints to the tree and get a little dirty with paint. Necco of Albany also plans to take photos of their adoption stories and hang them in frames from the tree.
