For some foster children, the goal is to reunify the child with his/her family. The reunification plan may involve scheduled visits with the child’s family or family therapy sessions. Other situations just require the foster parent to provide information regarding the child’s progress. In either instance, the case manager will explain the level of family contact that your foster child needs before placement.
