WHY REACH OUT?

Everyone struggles with managing their mental health at some point in their life. Deciding to get help isn’t giving up, it’s taking control. We’ve helped 30,000 kids and families over the years do just that. There’s nothing we haven’t handled before.

WHO DO WE HELP?

We serve children, young adults and their family members, but we are here to help adults in our community too. Some of the most frequent challenges we help clients overcome are:

  • Anxiety and Stress
  • Depression
  • Substance Abuse
  • Eating Disorders
  • Trouble Focusing
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • PTSD

Many times, these issues are accompanied by underlying stressors such as unemployment, lack of access to health care, falling behind at school, lack of child care options, confusion around EBT and school lunch programs, and other “everyday” challenges. Our case management team is uniquely positioned to help you secure the resources you need, in addition to the traditional counseling sessions.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

During your first consultation, we will work with you to assess your needs and identify your goals. We tailor our approach for every client. For younger children, play therapy and art therapy may be appropriate. Sessions may be one-on-one, involve the entire family or a combination. Increasingly, states are permitting virtual sessions through video conferencing, making sessions more accessible and convenient than ever.

CAN YOU DO VIRTUAL OR REMOTE SESSIONS?

Absolutely. One of our goals is to make counseling as accessible as possible, and with our Virtual Visits you can take the first step on the road to a more fulfilling life without ever leaving your home. Virtual Visits work just like in-person visits, but with the convenience of being able to attend a session anywhere you have an Internet connection.

HOW MUCH DOES COUNSELING COST?

Counseling is accessible and affordable. Since every insurance plan is different, check with your insurance company before your first appointment to learn what they will cover. There is no cost for counseling for any of the Medicaid MCOs.

THE NECCO EXPERIENCE

Necco is a close-knit, social organization that takes pride in helping families reach their fullest potential. And since we are a smaller agency, we don't have a waiting list and can get new clients in quickly. We also tend to be casual and offer a more personal level of customer service, which makes families feel more comfortable when they are with us.

Necco does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, gender identity, sex, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. Necco will also not discriminate against anyone based on their ability to pay for services. Necco will accept Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIP reimbursements and will provide services based on a sliding fee scale for private pay individuals.
