How does Necco guide you through an adoption?

ADOPTION THROUGH FOSTER CARE
While the goal of foster care is reunification with the family of origin, sometimes that's not possible. Necco's Foster to Adopt program is how we work to permanently place these kids with loving families; in just the past 5 years we have helped facilitate nearly 2,000 adoptions!
HOW DOES FOSTER TO ADOPT WORK?
The steps to adoption are the same as those required to become a foster parent. The difference is that our Case Managers will focus on placing children who are either eligible for adoption or are likely to become eligible for adoption. Those initial steps are outlined here:
STEP ONE - APPLICATION
Fill out our short application to get started. We'll do the rest.
STEP TWO - TRAINING
You didn't think we'd throw you in the deep end of the pool without a float did you? Just the opposite. Our training will prepare you for the amazing journey ahead.
STEP THREE - HOME VISIT
We need to make sure your home is ready for a visitor, but don't worry. If it isn't ready, we'll help you get it ready.
STEP FOUR - PAPERWORK
Paperwork is never fun, but it sure is necessary. We'll help you cross ever "t" and dot every "i".
STEP FIVE - BACKGROUND CHECKS
We know you have no skeletons in your closet, but the government wants proof. Necco makes background checks quick and painless!
Once training is complete and your home study has been approved, you are ready to accept a child into your home. Next step...ADOPTION!
HOW MUCH DOES FOSTER TO ADOPT COST?
Adoptions through foster care are often funded by the state and in most cases there are few or no fees. In addition, Federal or State programs offer assistance to remove the barriers to adopting through foster care, including tax benefits for income and expenses.
